Better builds.
Better outcomes.
Better homes.
After 15 years of scientific refinement, the unique chemistry in our panels help us build healthier homes today for a changing tomorrow - making them superior to anything else on the market today.
All SIP panels are
made the same…right? Wrong.
selectSIP panels have an insulating EPS core between two structural facings – the magnesium (MgSO4) sheathing. That is where similarities end. We use the most advanced ‘International Code Council Certified’ magnesium fibre cement sheathing in the world.
Our 5th generation product has been put to the test over the last 15 years, resulting in a product designed to extremely high structural, energy, and environmental standards.
The latest developments in design, production, and engineering performance in our magnesium (MgSO4) sheathing minimizes moisture absorption while accommodating superior ductility and breathability.
This is not your standard SIP product
Find out why below

Magnesium Oxide Board (MgSO4)

Using a revolutionary material made up of Magnesium Oxide (MgSO4) in a scientifically formulated cement mixture, we redefine the standard for SIP panels, and the building industry itself.
The special chemistry of our panels gives them a very high R-value (thermal resistance rating), and exceptional energy efficiency. When coupled with the building science behind the unique selectSIP envelope system, the home’s ability to resist the transfer of heat (R-value) is transformative.
Water-stable – The panels are water-stable, meaning they won’t degrade if they get wet. In fact, testing has shown an increase in strength over time through the wet/dry process. Giving you a product that will outlast typical construction.
Ductile and seismic safe – Our panels are proven, time and time again, to withstand extremely high levels of tensile stress before deformation and failure. The characteristics of the combined materials used in the selectSIP panel, create a building envelope that can absorb and transfer vast amounts of energy in a seismic event – absorbing much more energy than traditional building envelopes.
Non-combustible – Our MgSO4 sheathing is certified as a non-combustible material and testing proved zero smoke developed or flame spread.
Non-nutrient – Our MgSO4 sheathing is non-nutrient which means it will not support mould growth, a major cause of respiratory illness.
Free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) – our sheathing is free of the harmful VOCs found in many building products used today. VOCs and toxic chemicals can be released into the atmosphere (off-gassing). Find out more here.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is closed-cell insulation. Steam is used to expand small beads of polystyrene polymer which are then formed into blocks of varying densities, shapes, and sizes.
This is one of the most versatile types of insulation available and is used in our roof, walls, and floor panels.
Advantages of EPS:
Lightweight.
Minimal water absorption.
Maintains a constant level of thermal resistance and an R-value that does not degrade over time (unlike other insulation that can sag and degrade over time).
Energy efficiency – On average, it takes 24% less energy to produce EPS than fiberglass insulation of an equivalent R-Value.
No need to purchase additional insulating products.
